I have yet to meet one fan that looks forward to the end of a series. One of the wonderful things that Nicole does is she crosses her series. Even though you are done with that series you can still get peeks at characters from other books or series. You will find a lot of cross character/series in this book. I was like a kid on Christmas morning!!If you have read the Club Destiny series since book one, then you know that Dylan is an alcoholic widower with 2 children.
Then we have Sarah. Sarah briefly dated Dylan in High School and remained friends with him. Even after the death of his wife.
Sarah has her fair share of grief. Her husband, Paul, committed suicide a few years ago.
To me the book was a little slow going at first. Both are battling feelings, grief and depression. There is a lot of talking inside the head of the character for a few chapters. But when those two get out of their own heads…LOOK OUT!!
This book is no less steamy than any other of the Club Destiny series.
Dylan and Sarah start out rediscovering each other after all the changes life has thrown at them. The chemistry is off the charts.
Dylan has suppressed his dark fantasies for years. His wife was not into that kind of life style. Sarah has never been exposed to the life style, but is deeply interested.
Dylan is offered a job of managing a sex club for Trent Ramsey. Sarah goes with him to talk about details and to check out some other clubs.
When things are pretty much settled with Dylan and Trent. Dylan takes Sarah to Devotion.
Now, I have always loved the M/F/M scenes with Nicole’s books. In this book there is M/M/F/M scene. Christian and Tristian, identical twins!! Ladies you may need a cold shower after this scene.
I am going to stop here. Trust me when I tell you want to read this book. Even if you haven’t read the other 7 books. This book will not disappoint you.
I know that Trent is going to get his own spin off series, so I know this is not the end of all these characters. That takes a lot of sadness of this being the last book in the series away.

The first half of this book was so boring and repetitious that I started skipping pages. Over and over you read about their thoughts about what happened in the past until it is almost unbearable to read it again. After that, it gets very cliche, with each of them thinking the wrong thing about the other. I just did not feel the connection to these characters like I did in the other books of this series - and that is what had kept me coming back. There are superficial mentions to previous characters but not enough to satisfy a feeling of revisiting old friends. The potential for these characters to elicit strong emotions was there, but it just did not happen for me. I usually devour these books but I kept putting this one down because I just wasn’t that interested.
I've been wondering what would happen to Dylan Thomas since I read Seduction and I can tell you that I am so very happy with his story.
Years after losing his wife and battling the darkness, Dylan pulls himself out from behind the bottle and finds his perfect match. Sarah comes with her own backstory and the two of them have a connection that many people don't find in a lifetime. I was very interested in how Nicole Edwards brought 2 broken people together and I found myself reading long after I should be asleep. I was so into the story, I just couldn't put it down. I found myself thinking about these characters when I wasn't reading and that doesn't happen to me often. So Kudos to Nicole for that.
I LOVE being brought back into the club scene. Having not read Club Destiny books in a while, I was pulled right back into the club and I felt like I was there. Watching all of the things people do there. I was able to reconnect with a few of my favorites from the series and see how life has turned out for them. This book was just as sexy, if not more so, than the other books in the series. I LOVE how Nicole Edwards finds new ways to shock me in every book. This one did not disappoint.
This is considered the ending to the series, but it's also a new beginning. I am definitely looking forward to what's to come in the future.
